Louie

Louie is a 2-year-old, 50 lb Lab mix with a heart full of love to give! This sweet boy is a champion cuddler who thrives on affection and being close to his people. He may be a little shy and vocal around new faces initially, but with a bit of patience and understanding, Louie quickly blossoms into an incredibly loving and devoted companion. Within a day, he's usually settled in and ready to show you his affectionate side!

Louie has a medium energy level, enjoying playtime when the mood strikes, but also cherishing quiet downtime curled up nearby. He's already mastered potty training and crate training, and he reliably responds to "sit" and "come." While he's still working on his leash manners and can pull a bit, he's a smart boy who will continue to excel with ongoing training. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. Louie would be happiest in a home with adults or older, respectful teens who can appreciate his need for a little time to feel safe. Once he feels secure, you'll have a loyal cuddle companion for life! One of Louie's favorite pastimes is settling in for a good antler bone chew session.
