Cowboy

Cowboy is a resilient survivor, approximately 2 years old, who has overcome immense trauma. He was found abandoned and used as a bait dog, suffering severe injuries. Despite his past, Cowboy is now safe, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and undergoing treatment for heartworm. He is cautious with other dogs and may do best as an only pet. Cowboy also takes time to warm up to men, but with patience and understanding, he is ready to find a loving and secure home.

Cowboy may do best as an only dog, where he can feel safe and secure without the added stress of other animals. He needs a patient and understanding home that can help him continue to heal and build trust, especially with men.

Ongoing Health

Cowboy is heartworm positive but has begun treatment and is on the road to recovery. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cowboy is cautious with other dogs and takes time to warm up to men. He needs a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and trust.
