Lucy is a sweet and silly girl who is equal parts playful pup and professional sunbather! She's a beautiful Hound/Pointer/Cattle Dog mix, born in December 2024 and weighing around 40 pounds. Lucy is a loving and playful companion once she gets to know and trust her people. She enjoys chewing on bones and squeaky toys, playing with ropes and stuffed animals, and then happily curls up for cuddles or relaxes in the sun. Lucy has a wonderful balance of energy – she's happy to play and go for walks, but also perfectly content to lounge and relax with her people.
Ideal Home
Lucy does great with other dogs and enjoys socializing at daycare. While she doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home to be happy, she certainly wouldn't mind a canine friend. She would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands the importance of structure, patience, and clear boundaries, and in a home with children 10 years and over.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is fully potty trained and crate trained. She settles easily in her crate and walks fairly well on leash with occasional reminders.
Training & Support
Lucy can be reserved with new people and may need a little time to warm up. Once she builds trust, she is incredibly affectionate, playful, and loyal. She is smart and capable of learning quickly with consistency and patience. Lucy is looking for a home that will give her the time and leadership she needs to feel secure and confident.

Transporation
Lucille is currently being fostered in Parker, Colorado and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
