Meet Luna! This sweet Dachshund is about 2 years old and has overcome a lot in her young life. Her previous family lost their home and had to leave their dogs behind. Luna was found doing her best to care for her three tiny puppies. Thankfully, her puppies were rescued by another organization, and Luna was brought into our care to finally receive the love and attention she deserves. Now, Luna is ready to find her forever family! She is house-trained, incredibly sweet, and loves everyone she meets. Luna gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making her a fantastic addition to most households. She thrives on spending quality time with her people, soaking up affection, and being a cherished part of the family.
Ideal Home
Luna's most important request for her future home is simple: she sleeps in the bed! After everything she's been through, we believe she's earned this privilege. If you're looking for a devoted cuddle buddy who will happily curl up with you every night, Luna is the perfect match. However, if you have a strict "no dogs on the bed" policy, Luna may not be the ideal fit, and that's perfectly okay. We want her to find a home where her needs and desires are met.
Ongoing Health
Luna is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter.
Training & Support
Luna is house-trained and already knows how to be a loving companion. She's eager to please and will likely continue to do well with consistent positive reinforcement.
