Sasha

Sasha is a sweet 14-year-old, 5lb Yorkshire Terrier who is friendly with dogs and children. She’s a happy girl who loves to be with her person, especially for lap cuddles. Sasha enjoys supervised time in a secure, fenced yard and is also happy with harness-leashed walks.

Ideal Home

Sasha’s foster has specific requirements for her forever home. She needs a home where someone is present often, as she doesn't do well being left alone for long periods. Sasha must be allowed on the furniture to cuddle with her people. A home that will keep her on a grooming schedule is essential, as her hair mats easily. If your home does not meet these requirements, please do not submit an application.

Ongoing Health

Sasha is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Sasha needs some work on housebreaking. She also thrives with a secure fenced yard and/or harness-leashed walks. As with all dogs, Sasha would benefit from at least two weeks in her new home with only the people she lives with, without visitors, to allow her time to settle in and build trust.
