Benny is a handsome and sweet 4-4.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs between 45-50 pounds. He absolutely adores the water and can play fetch for hours, especially with a Frisbee! Benny is also a fan of car rides and doesn't mind being left home alone. He's crate trained and potty trained, and is up-to-date on his shots and heartworm negative. Benny was surrendered to a rural Texas shelter through no fault of his own, and although he was previously adopted, he was returned due to improper introductions to resident dogs. He gets along with medium to large male and female dogs. Benny is very active but not hyper, making him a great companion for runners!

Ideal Home

Benny needs an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, especially with his love for Frisbee!

Ongoing Health

Benny is up-to-date on his shots and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and potty trained. He previously had an issue with dog introductions, so new adopters should ensure proper introductions are made with any resident dogs.
