Bernie is a charming 3-year-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix who weighs around 50 pounds. He's an incredibly sweet boy who adores all people, and he has a special fondness for men! Bernie is currently being fostered with young children and does wonderfully with them. He also enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for adventures. Bernie's journey to us began when his owner, who was experiencing homelessness, had to be hospitalized. Bernie lived with his owner for over a year and is now ready to find a safe and loving forever home.

Ongoing Health

Bernie is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms. This treatment is included in his adoption donation.

Training & Support

Bernie is house-trained and appears to be well-behaved. He's a loving companion ready to settle into his new life.
