Chip

Chip is a good-natured, handsome, and eager-to-please two-year-old deaf pit mix. He arrived from Louisiana when Pathway partnered with the Good Flights program. Chip was rescued as a puppy, covered in painful mange, and found abandoned and in desperate need of help. He was suffering from demodex mange and it was also discovered he is deaf. Chip is now a loving member of Hope's Home and is looking for his forever family.

Ideal Home

Chip enjoys meeting new people, but it takes him some time to fully trust due to his deafness. He would ideally be best suited for a calmer home with adults only or a home with older children.

Ongoing Health

Chip is deaf and has a history of demodex mange. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chip loves to go on pack walks with volunteers and has special friends he enjoys cuddling with. He sleeps well despite any noise around him. Once he fully trusts someone, he becomes a total lovebug.
