Diesel

Diesel is a handsome 6-year-old Lab mix who weighs 61 pounds. He's been through a lot in his young life, having been moved from home to home before arriving at the shelter as a stray. Despite his past, Diesel remains hopeful for a loving forever family. He can be a bit nervous in new situations and needs time to build trust, but he's made wonderful progress with our staff. While he's shown to be more comfortable with females, he has learned to trust some of our male staff with patience and kindness.

Ideal Home

Diesel would thrive in a home where he can set his own pace and continue to build his confidence. He may be able to live with another dog if it's the right match, and he has lived with children in the past, though we haven't seen him interact with kids at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Diesel is not neutered and is not vaccinated.

Training & Support

Diesel can be nervous in new situations and needs time to trust. He is house-trained.
