Tella

Tella is a little 12 lb Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix who came from a home with three housemates. She was initially very unsocialized and frightened, hiding, snapping, and baring her teeth around other dogs. With patience and space, she has made meaningful progress and is now more comfortable with hugs and kisses.

Ideal Home

Tella needs a patient home that understands she may feel scared while adjusting to new surroundings. She has come a long way and is described as curious, gentle, loyal, and quiet.

Ongoing Health

Tella is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has received Bordetella, has been wormed, is microchipped, and is kept on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Tella has done wonderfully with crate training. She is house trained and may need time, space, and reassurance as she settles into her new home.
