Palmer

Palmer is a charming 1.5-year-old, 15lb bundle of personality who's been patiently waiting for his forever home for 8 months. While Palmer can be a bit shy and nervous around new people, he quickly blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion once he feels safe and secure. He has made wonderful progress in our care, showing that with a little time and understanding, he bonds beautifully. Palmer is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the space he needs to decompress and show him the love he truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Palmer would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with minimal foot traffic. He can be a bit particular with other dogs and would likely do best as the sole pet, though he has shown good behavior with calm and respectful canine companions in our shelter.

Ongoing Health

Palmer is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and has received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He has also undergone blood and fecal testing. A complimentary wellness exam is scheduled 7-10 days after adoption.

Training & Support

Palmer may be initially shy and nervous around new people, and it's important to respect his boundaries and give him space. With a calm and predictable environment, he has shown great adaptability and the ability to bond. Understanding his need for decompression will be key to his continued success.

Palmer is located at our facility. Adopters must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 years old.
