Willa

Meet Willa! This playful pup, born on April 2, 2023, has a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She's a true "Velcro dog" who thrives on attention and wants to be wherever you are! Willa loves to run, play, and be part of the action, and her higher energy levels mean she'll do best with an active family who can provide plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation.

Ideal Home

Willa would thrive in an active home that understands the needs of young dogs. She may enjoy having another confident dog to play with and learn from. While she does well with a 5-year-old, very young toddlers might make her a bit nervous due to their quick movements.

Training & Support

Willa is fully housetrained and rides well in the car. She's making great progress with her leash manners and is eager to learn. Like many young dogs, she's still learning boundaries. She can be a chewer, especially when unsupervised, so she needs to be crated when you're not home. Willa also experiences some separation anxiety, but she has made significant progress in a sturdy crate setup and continues to improve daily. She can be a bit reserved with new adults at first, but quickly warms up to become incredibly loving and loyal.
