Goldie is a sweet 3-year-old, 11 lb Cavapoo who is looking for her forever home! She's a survivor of a puppy mill and is a bit shy with new people, but she's a happy girl who is eager to learn about life as a beloved pet. With patience and understanding, Goldie will blossom into a confident companion.
Ideal Home
Goldie would thrive in a home with a patient and loving family. Because she's a bit shy, having another friendly, social dog in the home would be a great benefit to help her adjust. A securely fenced yard is also highly recommended for her safety and to assist with potty training, as she's still learning leash manners.
Ongoing Health
Goldie has a grade 2/6 left-sided heart murmur, noted over the mitral valve. It wasn't audible while she was under anesthesia for her spay surgery. She is not currently showing any signs of heart issues, so no further diagnostics or treatment are planned at this time. She has been spayed and her vet care is up to date.
Training & Support
As a former breeding dog, Goldie may need to learn basic house manners, such as leash walking and acclimating to common household items. She'll need an adopter who is committed to celebrating every small step forward and accepting her for who she is. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her build trust and confidence.

- We primarily adopt to residents of WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.
- Please do not set up an appointment until you are ready to adopt.
- We have a 30-day trial period, and the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 if the adoption doesn't work out within that time.
- Adopters must return the pet to us if they are ever unable or unwilling to care for them.
Transportation
Goldie is located in Mukwonago, WI. Adopters must be willing to travel to Mukwonago to meet and adopt her. We do not ship our pets.
