Leni is an 8-pound sweetheart with a curly coat who came into the Stanislaus Shelter after being found wandering the streets. Estimated to be around 5 years old, she is friendly and affectionate with people and great with other dogs. She's back to a healthy weight and functioning like a happy girl now. Leni is friendly with strangers, often asking to be picked up. She's good on leash, crate trained, and loves being by her people. While she gets along with other dogs, she prefers her people and would be happy in a home with another respectful dog, or soaking up all the attention herself. She is learning the ropes of potty training and is getting a hang of it with a set schedule. If you have a warm lap and don't mind a dog kiss or two, Leni may be your gal.
