Ivan

Ivan is a 100% beagle, young pup full of joy and mischief! He's a super cute bundle of energy who loves toys, being outdoors, and playing at the dog park with his canine friends. While Ivan was initially a bit skittish and withdrawn due to his shelter experience, he's quickly learning that people can be kind and gentle. He looks to his foster mom for guidance and finds the world endlessly entertaining. This little guy has a strong prey drive and will likely chase cats, birds, and lizards. However, once he slows down, Ivan is a total cuddle bug who adores affection. At bedtime, he sleeps soundly in his crate with a special treat. He's comfortable being crated when his foster mom is away, especially with other dogs around, as he truly loves their company.

Ideal Home

Ivan would do well in a home with other dogs, as he thrives with canine companionship. Due to his prey drive, a home without cats, birds, or lizards would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Ivan is heartworm negative and has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ivan is doing an excellent job with his housetraining, especially with access to a fenced yard. He could still use some practice with his leash walking skills. He is a gentle boy who takes cues from his people and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and guidance.
