Wes is estimated to be just over a year old and weighs around 51 lbs. He appears to be a lab/pittie mix with a happy-go-lucky, people-loving personality that shines through in everything he does. Wes is a dog who wakes up ready to enjoy life and wants to bring you along for the adventure!
Wes has a warm, welcoming energy that makes him instantly lovable. He greets new people with enthusiasm, leans in for affection, and happily rolls over for belly rubs. He makes fast friends everywhere he goes, and he's wonderfully social with other dogs too. Wes is friendly, playful, and knows how to mingle, especially in a group. He'd thrive with another medium-energy dog to play with and keep him company, but he's also happy to match a higher energy playmate. After playtime, Wes has a great off-switch and is happy to relax inside.
Ideal Home
Wes would love a home with a yard for playing and rolling in the grass. He would absolutely shine as a go-everywhere, do-everything dog for hikes, patio hangs, and neighborhood strolls. Because Wes can get a little vocal, apartment living isn't ideal. He would do best with a dog-savvy cat who can set boundaries and ideally a home with another dog so he has an appropriate outlet for his playful energy.

Wes is still growing out of his puppy enthusiasm on leash and can be a puller when he sees other dogs – this is excitement, not reactivity. He responds well to corrections and is very treat-motivated, so he'll polish up nicely with consistency and snacks.
