Reggie

Reggie is a wonderfully affectionate and people-focused boy who is looking for his forever home or a committed foster anywhere in the Northeast. He was found as a stray and eventually adopted, but was returned after a misunderstanding involving his collar. Reggie has had a bit of a rocky start, but he still loves his people dearly and is eager for stability.

The good stuff about Reggie includes that he is neutered, crate trained, and house trained, even alerting when he needs to go out. He's also leash trained, enjoys car rides, and is a big fan of toys and couch naps. He previously lived with an adult and a child and was described as playful and outgoing.

Ideal Home

Reggie would do best in a home where he can decompress and settle in. He has not been tested with cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. While he previously lived with a child, he will need his own space initially when meeting new dogs, and any dog introductions should be slow and structured after a full decompression period.

Ongoing Health

Reggie is currently undergoing a vet assessment for an eye issue and we are ensuring all medical care is handled. He is likely blind in one eye.

Training & Support

Reggie is already crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. He is very people-focused and enjoys car rides. He does need a slow and structured introduction period to any new dogs in the home.
