Masha is a stunning Alaskan Husky, about 5 years old, weighing around 55 lbs. She is a truly majestic dog with captivating sky-blue eyes and a noble presence. Masha has a calm and affectionate personality, loves people, and is eager to please, making her a wonderfully balanced companion. She’s playful, fun, and a bit of a "chismosa," adding to her charm. Masha is crate-trained for up to 12 hours without accidents and walks well on a leash, though she can pull with excitement. She enjoys toys but can be protective, and when bored, may chew on household items. True to her Husky nature, she loves to howl and bark and has a stubborn streak. Masha has been waiting five years for her forever family and deserves a home where she can finally experience the full, beautiful life she has always dreamed of.
Ideal Home
Masha would thrive with a very active family who has experience with dog behavior and training. She is great with children and would do well in a home with other dogs, though she can be a bit of a "boss" with dominant personalities. Families who understand the unique needs of rescued animals and have high tolerance and patience are essential.
Ongoing Health
Masha is spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and has received one month of flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. She comes with a health certificate.
Training & Support
Masha is not yet house-trained, which is a common need for many rescued animals. She can be a bit of a chewer when bored, so providing her with appropriate toys is important. Her stubborn streak and tendency to howl or bark require patient and consistent training. She can also be territorial with other dogs, so supervised introductions and guidance on sharing are recommended.
