Nala Mae

Nala Mae is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix weighing 46 pounds. She's a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion who settles into family life with ease. Nala has an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. She enjoys spending time with other dogs, showing a playful side, but she's also happy to relax once playtime is over. She's been great with smaller dogs, reading social cues well and knowing when another dog has had enough. Nala is non-reactive on walks and has excellent leash manners.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy a daily walk and plenty of time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, she doesn't require one.

Ongoing Health

Nala is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and does well in her crate. She may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, but she settles down quickly. Her foster expects this mild separation anxiety to continue improving as she becomes more comfortable in a consistent routine. She is smart, knows several commands, and is eager to please.
