Sam

Sam is a gentle and loving young boy who is looking for a family to call his own. He is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 31 pounds, but he does need to gain some weight. This sweet muffin is quite skinny right now, but we are working on that, and he won't be hungry again. Words cannot express how sweet Sam is; he loves to lean in so tight to you and then give you gentle kisses, which just melts your heart. Sam is very connecting and just wants to please his people, but he is a little submissive. He would really benefit from some confidence-building, so hopefully, his new family can work on that. Someone is going to be so lucky to have Sam as a best friend; he is an absolute treasure.

Ideal Home

Sam would thrive in a home where any children are at least 8 years old, given his sweet and shy nature.

Ongoing Health

Sam is currently underweight, but we are working on helping him gain weight.

Training & Support

Sam is a bit submissive and would benefit from confidence-building exercises.

• We do not test with cats, so we cannot advise on how a dog would do in a home with them.
• Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.
