Max is an estimated 10-month-old, 37 lb Vizsla Lab mix with the heart of a goofy, happy sidekick! He's a people-adoring pup who greets everyone with enthusiasm and loves to stay close to his favorite humans. Max enjoys playing with toys, games like fetch and tug, and has proven to be a gentle playmate for kids. He's also polite and easygoing with other dogs, both small and large. Max is doing well with potty and crate training and sleeps through the night. He's smart, curious, and eager to please, responding best to positive guidance.
Ideal Home
A home that is ready for a growing puppy who thrives on connection. A yard would be nice, but what matters most to him is having people to follow, play with, and love. He will do best with daily activity, a bit of structure, and someone who enjoys the process of watching a good dog grow into a great one.
Ongoing Health
Max is a young, healthy dog. All vetting, vaccines, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention are up to date.
Training & Support
Max is still learning leash walking and may need a little encouragement to get going, but he is improving with consistency. Like any young dog, he may have occasional moments of distraction or zoomies, and might be curious about counters if something smells interesting. He responds best to gentle, positive guidance.

Transporation
Max is currently being fostered in Renton, WA and is available for local meet and greets. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs.
