She's an estimated one-year-old, and while she has the charm of a pug and the energy of a boxer, rescue rules apply, and we can't guarantee her breed mix. Lola is a truly happy and entertaining dog who lives for fetch. She's getting pretty good at bringing toys back, though sometimes she gets so caught up in the fun, she might forget who threw it or what to do next! She absolutely adores playful dogs who enjoy chasing, wrestling, and general rough-and-tumble fun. Lola is a toy connoisseur and can entertain herself for hours, waking up each day ready to make life one big recess.

Ideal Home

Lola would thrive with someone who enjoys training and is looking for an active adventure buddy. An ideal home would be one that embraces hiking, training classes, and lots of enrichment activities. She's a resilient and confident dog who handles new situations well and recovers quickly, always maintaining a social and friendly demeanor with people. Her dream home includes at least one equally playful dog (sturdy, over 25 lbs, enjoys physical play, and knows how to take breaks) and a cat-free environment. She also needs space to run, so apartment living is not a good fit for this girl.

Ongoing Health

Lola is a young and healthy dog who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

As Lola is young and energetic, she will benefit from a structured home committed to helping her learn good doggy manners. She's working on settling down in the home and needs encouragement to relax in exciting environments. The good news is she responds well to guidance and appropriate corrections.

Transportation

Lola is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
