A little about them
Some dogs make life easier, and Hazel is one of them. This beautiful 4-year-old Collie mix is a smart, loyal, friendly, and easygoing companion who enjoys both outdoor adventures and relaxing beside her people.
Hazel is house-trained, spayed, vaccinated, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She is also reported to be good with cats and children. She has excellent recall, is not reactive, does not struggle with separation anxiety, and takes life’s surprises in stride. Her foster describes her as having no red flags.
Hazel was recently diagnosed with early-stage pannus, an immune-mediated condition affecting the corneas that can lead to vision loss. She is doing well with daily Optimmune eye medication, which she will likely continue long-term.
Hazel is ready to be a loyal best friend, hiking partner, road-trip companion, and cuddle buddy.
