Bert

Bert is an enthusiastic, handsome, and fun-loving young boy whose DNA shows a mix of German Shepherd, Husky, and Great Pyrenees. He's the kind of dog who's always ready for an adventure and wants to be by your side for all the "let's go do ALL the things!" moments. Bert is intelligent, active, and eager to have a job to do.

Ideal Home

Bert would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energy and provide him with mental stimulation. He would also love a confident canine sibling who can help him channel his excitement. Bert is not a good fit for homes with chickens. His interactions with cats are a "work in progress."

Training & Support

Bert is crate trained and knows "sit" and "down." He has excellent recall and is learning "wait," "stay," "off," and "loose leash walking." While he's still polishing his manners, with consistency and structure, he will absolutely shine. Bert does have a mild food guarding tendency and may need to be fed separately at first.
