Peanut is bonded with Cashew Rose, and they must be adopted together.
Peanut is the happiest, sweetest gentleman looking for a loving home where he can belong!
Along with his sister Cashew, Peanut has experienced much loss and upheaval in the last year. He came home bracing for what would happen next, but with patience and love, he has already blossomed into a bright, confident boy who loves nothing more than snuggling in a lap or having his incredibly soft fur petted. He's a true darling - following his people from room to room, and the moment he catches your eye, he's grinning, wagging, and ready to leap straight into your arms!
Peanut keeps his crate clean and is fully house trained. He rides beautifully in the car, and is working on what it means to walk on a leash. The little 'Nut loves hanging out with his people and his sister Cashew, and he enjoys spending time outside listening to the birds and soaking up the sun. He's not overly energetic, but he loves a brisk stroll at the dog park, and when the opportunity to engage with his people presents itself, Peanut comes to life with puppy-like energy and will literally bound over to you with the brightest, sparkling eyes.
Peanut is wonderful with other dogs: calm, social, and easy to fold right into the pack. As for people, whether it's children or adults, Peanut loves them all - and he adores being held! In fact, one of his favorite things to do is fall asleep in your arms on his back, his little mouth agape and a sleepy, blissful grin on his adorable face.
Peanut is a delightful, devoted little man who deserves a home where he can love and be loved again!
