Riggs

Riggs is a sweet, gentle, and shy nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation. While he was well-cared for, he missed out on some important early socialization. Riggs is a natural introvert who prefers a calm approach and time to adjust to new situations.

Ideal Home

Riggs would thrive in a quiet, laid-back home. He does well with other dogs and cats, and would benefit from having a confident, friendly dog companion to help him feel more secure. He needs a fenced yard for safety and because he is sensitive to loud noises and commotion. Riggs would do best with children over 10 who are calm and respectful, as he is not accustomed to loud or boisterous behavior.

Riggs is a healthy young dog.

Riggs is still learning about everyday life and needs patience and understanding. He will blossom with structure, kindness, and time.
