Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as his paws! Ashton is looking for his forever family after his previous humans had to move. He's a happy and energetic boy who's adjusting to shelter life like a champ, though he misses having a home of his own. Ashton absolutely loves to play fetch and will happily bring the ball back for another round! He enjoys being active and cherishes time spent with his people. While he's a strong boy who's still learning his size, he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs here at the shelter. He's truly a large guy with a big personality to match!

Ashton is heartworm positive and will be treated by our shelter. It's important for his new family to remain committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him happy and healthy for years to come.
