Meet Ruby!

Ruby is a sweet and mellow 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 35 lbs. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston and has blossomed into a truly perfect companion. Ruby is an old soul who prefers cozy cuddles on the couch to strenuous hikes. She's a loyal shadow who enjoys gentle walks around the neighborhood. Ruby is house-trained and not destructive, preferring to sleep soundly in her bed at night. Her only requirements for a forever home are a comfy bed and a spot next to you on the couch. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, showing no signs of aggression.

Ideal Home

Ruby would love a home with a plush donut bed and a spot on the couch next to her human.

Ongoing Health

Ruby is finishing up her heartworm treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and current on prevention.

Training & Support

Ruby is house-trained and exhibits no destructive behaviors. Her gentle nature makes her a joy to be around.
