Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Labrador mix who is ready to bring joy to her forever home! Weighing around 16 lbs, she's expected to reach a size of 32-38 lbs. Sol has a happy and energetic personality, loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite toys like bright, fun dog balls. She's also very affectionate and enjoys receiving pets and cuddles. Sol is social with other dogs and people, including strangers, approaching new situations with curiosity rather than fear. She does not show any aggressive behavior and has a gentle nature, making her a wonderful companion for an active family.
Ideal Home
Sol would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with the intention to truly rescue and provide education and protection for a street animal. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, are preferred. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential. Sol is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Sol has received a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test and certificate, negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. She also comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Sol is not house-trained and will need consistent effort and patience in this area. Understanding that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period is crucial. Patience, a safe and loving environment, and a clear routine will help build trust and strengthen your bond.

Transportation
Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. Transport is organized 3-4 times a year with a dedicated transport company that brings pets across the border into Texas. Real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group will be provided throughout the journey.
