Toby

Toby is a handsome 5-year-old yellow Lab mix who weighs about 34 kilos. He was found as a stray and was malnourished and filthy. Thankfully, after a vet visit, he was treated for parasites and given vitamins. He tested negative for serious illnesses. Toby has a slight, involuntary movement in his front leg, which the vet believes is a residual effect from distemper. This does not impact him in any way and just makes him extra special.

Ideal Home

Toby loves humans of all ages and is friendly with other dogs. However, he does not like cats. He enjoys car rides and loves to play in the water, especially in a pool on hot days. Toby is not a fan of being bossed around by dominant male dogs, so he would do best in a home with a female dog or as the only dog. He also prefers not to have other dogs eat out of his food bowl, which can be easily managed with a little separation. He would be a great fit for a home with a female dog, children, or an active family, as he is very affectionate and has a playful personality.

Toby has a slight, involuntary movement in his front leg, a likely consequence of distemper. He has fully recovered and it does not affect his quality of life.
