Mistletoe Suffolk

Scarlett is a sweet and gentle 8-year-old female Beagle mix, weighing around 24 lbs. Her foster family has started calling her Scarlett, and she's slowly responding to her new name. While she can be a bit of a selective listener, her sweet nature shines through. She enjoys playtime with her beagle friend and isn't hyper or destructive. Scarlett likes to follow her foster family around, enjoys walks, and absolutely loves mealtime! She gets along well with other dogs and has even been seen cozied up with another beagle.

Ideal Home

Scarlett would thrive in a home where her humans want to interact with her. She's a bit reserved and doesn't always initiate affection, but she enjoys cuddles. Her mild personality makes her a good fit for families with children or older adults. We are unsure how she would do with cats.

Ongoing Health

Scarlett is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

While generally well-behaved, Scarlett is described as a "selective listener," so consistent training and positive reinforcement will be key to her success. Encouraging interaction and providing plenty of opportunities for walks and meals will help her settle in and bond with her new family.
