Queenie is a ~6-year-old, 110lb Boerboel who is looking for a foster or forever home. She came to us with Ozzie, a male Cane Corso, and we would love to see them adopted together as a bonded pair! If they are adopted separately, Queenie would need to be placed in a home with another large, calm dog of the opposite sex. Queenie is a loving girl who desperately wants to be in a home again. The kennel environment has been stressful for her, and she would be so grateful to be in a home as soon as possible. She bonds deeply with her people and her canine companion, and she is affectionate and sweet. Queenie has been a little more stressed in the kennel than Ozzie and would truly benefit from a calm and loving home to help her decompress. She does well on walks, but she is very strong and has a prey drive, so adopters will need to be able to handle her size and strength. We are looking for adopters experienced with large breeds. We are continuing to socialize and evaluate Queenie's dog socialization, but she is not good with small dogs or cats. If adopted separately from Ozzie, she will need another large, calm male dog in the home and no small dogs.
