Violet

Violet is a 1.5-year-old sweetheart who was found roaming the streets of Houston. Despite her rough start, she remains the most loyal and loving dog you'll ever meet, ready to find her forever home. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to be near you, and her tongue is always sticking out in a happy little “blep.” She is incredibly loyal to her core, loves playing tug, and is completely obsessed with the hose. Violet has survived so much and still chooses to trust people, shining at adoption events by meeting all kinds of new friends, both human and canine.

Ideal Home

Violet's ideal home would include an adopter willing to continue her training to help build her confidence. She also thrives with another dog friend, as she gets a lot of confidence from other dogs and is good with dogs of all sizes. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making huge strides with place and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys, so these should be avoided.
