Armani is a sweet and lovable Shepherd Husky mix who is about 2 years old. He's a fantastic listener and is highly motivated by treats! While Armani can be a little shy when first meeting new people, once he gets to know you, he becomes incredibly affectionate and will be so excited to see you. He's already mastered crate training, is house-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He can be a bit skittish when cars speed by on walks, but his foster is actively working with him to build his confidence in those situations. Armani currently weighs 70 lbs but is expected to reach a healthy 80 lbs. He's also great with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine companion to help him feel more secure.
Armani's journey began when he was surrendered to a shelter at just 2 months old. He spent his first year in a shelter environment before finding a home at a little over a year old. He lived happily with his family for nearly a year until, due to personal circumstances, they had to surrender him to another shelter. Luckily, Rocky's Rest Stop stepped in to rescue him from the urgent list, and he's been enjoying life in a loving foster home ever since.
Ideal Home
Armani would do best in a home with another dog to help him gain confidence.
