Kala

Kala is a beautiful year and a half old girl who has had a rough start to life. She was kept on a chain outdoors with only negative human interactions. Because of this, she is quite fearful of people. After spending a considerable amount of time at our sanctuary, we've discovered the environments where she thrives and feels most at ease. Kala absolutely needs a home with multiple dogs, as she dislikes being the center of attention. She currently lives with 15-23 dogs and adores it! She enjoys having canine companions to play with, relax beside, or simply share quiet moments watching the world go by. Due to her anxiousness around unpredictable movements, small children would not be a suitable match.

Ideal Home

Kala enjoys the company of women and would thrive in a home with plenty of other animals (cats and dogs), cozy beds or access to a couch, and a fenced-in yard for exploration.

Ongoing Health

Kala is housetrained and crate trained.

Training & Support

Kala can be shy when first meeting new people, but with time, love, and patience, she opens up and shows her sweet nature. The provided video demonstrates how much she loves Carly and how she blossoms with consistent affection.
