Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy with a gentle soul! Benson found himself in a tough situation in Texas after being hit by a car and left to wander. Thankfully, he was rescued and underwent a leg amputation with Big Fluffy. He's slowly learned that humans can be wonderful, especially when treats and air conditioning are involved! Benson is a dog who appreciates peace and quiet, and he's looking for a home that can offer him just that.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm and low-traffic environment. He would do best with children over 12 who understand and respect a dog's boundaries, as loud or boisterous children might overwhelm him. Because he is a tripod, a home with minimal stairs is preferred to ensure his long-term comfort.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod due to a past leg amputation. He gets around just fine, but a home with fewer stairs is recommended to keep him comfortable.

Training & Support

Benson is potty trained and rides beautifully in the car. He's been a perfect gentleman during vet visits and handling. He’s more of an observer and doesn't demand constant attention, preferring to hang out in the same room and keep an eye on things. He's a lower-energy guy who enjoys a slower pace of life.
