TY

Meet TY! This handsome fellow is estimated to be 1 to 2 years old and came to us as a stray, likely with his litter mate, Sam. TY has a truly unique look, reminiscent of a raccoon or a fox, with a long tail and short legs that make him utterly adorable. He was initially quite timid about new experiences, including grooming and bathing, but has shown great progress and now seems to enjoy the attention he gets during brushing. While he's still learning to be brave in new situations, TY is a loving companion who adores people. He's been great with the other dogs in his foster home. With a little patience and gentle guidance, TY will quickly adjust to his new surroundings and become a cherished member of your family.

Ideal Home

TY would do best in a home where he can continue to build his confidence. Given his initial fear of being chased or grabbed, he may not be a good fit for homes with young children.

Ongoing Health

TY's veterinary care is all up to date, including his neuter.

Training & Support

TY can be a bit of a scardy cat about new things and situations. He needs a gentle leader to help him feel secure. We cannot promise housebreaking, and he will likely require supervision initially as he learns a new routine.
