Beaux

Beaux is a 11-month-old, 62lb young male hound mix with a gentle soul and a playful spirit. He's had a rough start, finding himself in a shelter at a young age, then adopted only to be surrendered and heartbreakingly abandoned. Thankfully, our vet found him at a Marshall's store and brought him to safety. Despite his past, Beaux is incredibly sweet, especially when taking food from your hand, and showers his humans with kisses. He's great on a leash, knows "sit," and loves to sleep in bed with his people. He's crate-trained, housebroken, and very food motivated. Beaux absolutely adores playing with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and he's looking for an active family to share his love and energy with.

Ideal Home

Beaux would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime, especially with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Beaux is heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He's also on flea and heartworm prevention. He had a great initial exam.

Training & Support

Beaux is crate trained and housebroken. He can be a bit vocal and plays rough, so continued positive reinforcement for his vocalizations and play style would be beneficial. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.
