He's happiest when he's snuggled up on the couch, soaking in all the attention you can give. Bud truly makes himself at home and is looking for a loving family to share his life with.

Training & Support

Bud is fully housebroken and crate trained for up to four hours. He's polite with other dogs and plays beautifully, understanding their cues well. He's also wonderful with children. While he generally gets along with cats, he might occasionally get playful and chase, so slow introductions and supervision are recommended. Bud is still building confidence with car rides and can get a little anxious, but he's making progress with patience and positive experiences. He can be a bit eager and pull on leash when he spots another dog, but he's very redirectable and eager to learn, making continued leash training manageable.

Transportation

Bud is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can be transported out of state to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved. If you have a specific time you can accept a dog, please apply at that time.
