Barkus Aurelius Roman, affectionately known as Aurelio, is a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as grand as his name. He's a goofy, affectionate puppy who loves to be part of the family. Aurelio is a handsome boy with a creamy tan coat and striking icy blue eyes, sure to melt your heart. He enjoys wrestling with his sisters, cuddling, and joining in on any adventure. He thrives on a structured routine and has a quick learning ability, especially with his food motivation making training enjoyable. He's making great progress with crate and potty training, and is learning patience. Aurelio is friendly and affectionate but is still learning not to jump when excited. He has experience with an older dog, learning valuable lessons about respecting another dog's space. Slow, supervised introductions would be recommended for cats and young children. Aurelio will blossom into a loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion with consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love.

Ongoing Health
Aurelio is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Aurelio is learning patience and impulse control. He is working on not jumping when excited. He will continue to thrive with consistent positive reinforcement and guidance.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
