Meet Reese — A Young Soul Ready to Belong

Reese is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Alaskan Husky who was found as a stray in Harris County, TX. Despite his rough start, Reese is a joyful, gentle, and affectionate boy who trusts people and has a heart full of love to give. He’s excellent with other dogs and loves connecting with people. Reese walks beautifully on a leash, is treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit. He does have a habit of jumping up for more pets, which is just his way of asking for affection! He truly loves being touched and thrives on human connection, enjoying hugs and attention from head to toe.

Ideal Home

Reese would do well in almost any home setting, but an active home is preferred to help meet his exercise needs.

Ongoing Health

Reese is up to date on all vaccines and is neutered. He tested positive for heartworm but has started slow-kill treatment and is recovering.

Training & Support

Reese is eager to please and smart, but he does jump up for attention. Redirecting this behavior will help him settle in.
