Meet Coco Mann, a handsome 5-year-old boy who weighs in at 76 pounds. Coco might be a little shy when he first meets new people, but he really blossoms when he has someone who is home often or a canine pal to hang out with. He's a dog who truly benefits from having company, so apartment living might not be his ideal situation.
Coco's story began when he was found in the outside kennels of the Fort Worth shelter during a cold snap. We stepped in to provide him with temporary housing at our boarding facility. However, once we saw what a wonderful dog he is, we couldn't imagine sending him back to the shelter. With open hearts, Coco joined our rescue, and now he's eagerly waiting for his forever family.
Since joining our rescue, Coco has shown us his amazing personality. He's currently in a foster home with other dogs and seems to do well. While he can be a bit nervous around very young children because of their quick movements, he's generally adorable, submissive, and happy in new environments once he settles in. He's also become quite the leash-walking pro with a little patience!
Coco is a natural couch potato, but don't let that fool you – he's also a playful pup who can entertain himself for ages with a toy, tossing it around and having a blast. He's also shown that he can get along with cats, though we always recommend slow, proper introductions as every cat has their own unique personality.
We believe Coco would be wonderful with older children, perhaps over the age of five, but we're unsure how he'd do with younger kids due to his initial nervousness. His sweet and handsome nature makes him a fantastic companion for a family ready to offer him the loving home he truly deserves.
If you're searching for a loyal and loving buddy, Coco is ready to capture your heart. Reach out and give this deserving pup the forever home filled with love and understanding he's been dreaming of.
