Meet Fantasma! This sweet boy, whose name means "ghost" in Spanish, is anything but invisible. His rescue story is truly unforgettable; he was found abandoned, painfully thin, with missing patches of fur, and clearly unacquainted with love. Even in his difficult beginnings, he found comfort by staying close to other dogs.

Today, Fantasma has blossomed into a confident and affectionate companion. He runs and plays with enthusiasm, is a volunteer favorite on leash, and absolutely adores human affection. Fantasma doesn't demand attention, but once you notice him, you're sure to fall in love. He's ready for a forever home where he can truly shine!

Transportation

Fantasma is currently located in Kelowna, BC. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so dogs may need to fly into the US. In such cases, arrangements can be made for pick-up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many adoptions this way, with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
