Born in January 2022 and currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, Sterling is the total package: stunning, smart, playful, and sweet. He's a playful, happy-go-lucky guy who loves life and greets each day with a wagging tail. He’s crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash—making him a great fit for a home that can match his energy and continue his positive routine. His absolute favorite treat? A Kong stuffed with frozen peanut butter—it's his idea of the perfect snack and keeps him happily entertained!

Ongoing Health
All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
Training & Support
Sterling is crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s looking for a family who will keep him active, engaged, and loved.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call.
- Out of state adoption fee is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee. This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- Wags reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-serve basis; the goal is to find the best possible home.
Transporation
Sterling is currently fostered in Texas but is available for transport. Dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
