Meet Gina! Gina is a spirited 1-year-old Belgian Malinois mix, weighing in at 56lbs, who is ready to bring her playful energy to a loving family. She was found as a tiny puppy abandoned in a cardboard box by a busy road, but thanks to her wonderful foster family, she's now looking for her forever home. Gina adores her smaller dog companions and loves a good game of tug-of-war, often initiating play with her favorite toys. While she can be a bit shy around unfamiliar, larger dogs due to a past negative experience, she coexists happily with both small and large dogs in her foster home. She’s described as a "puppy velociraptor" and is still learning what's appropriate to chew on, so she'll need a family to guide her with positive training.
Ideal Home
Gina would thrive in an active home with people who can provide plenty of playtime and mental enrichment. She's seeking a family with older, dog-savvy children (10 and up) as she can be jumpy when excited and is still learning her size. A home with another dog would be wonderful for companionship and to help her burn off energy. Gina is too enthusiastic about neighborhood cats, so a cat-free home is recommended.

Training & Support
Gina is house and crate trained and can be crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety. She does prefer to enjoy her treats alone and will benefit from guidance on appropriate chewing habits. Regular socialization and positive training will be key to helping her grow into a well-mannered adult.
