Dakota

Dakota is an incredibly sweet girl who loves people. She has had a long journey to get here, and is ready to find her forever home. Because of her past experiences, we believe Dakota would thrive best as the only animal in the home. She did not engage with cats when her sister Ruby did, but to be safe, we are looking for a kitty-free environment. Dakota has shown some reactivity towards other dogs, but with repeated, slow introductions, she may be able to warm up to canine friends.

Dakota would do best in a home where she is the only animal.

Ongoing Health

Dakota has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has also tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Dakota has a history of escaping from her previous home, so a secure environment is important.
