Kylo

Kylo is a delightful 1- to 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a truly inspiring comeback story. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, weighing a mere 22 pounds and severely emaciated. Through dedicated care, excellent nutrition, and an abundance of love, Kylo has made a remarkable recovery, now tipping the scales at a healthy 48 pounds. His playful spirit has emerged, and he greets everyone with enthusiasm, often melting hearts with his signature adorable play bow when he gets excited. While Kylo is generally friendly, his compatibility with other dogs is still being assessed. He might be a bit particular about his canine companions, so we recommend a meet-and-greet if you have a resident dog. Kylo is searching for a forever home where he'll always feel secure, adored, and continue to receive the loving attention that has helped him flourish.

As Kylo was a stray, his house-training status is unknown. We are still learning about his interactions with other dogs and he may be selective.
