Meet Ivy, a delightful pup born on March 11, 2025! Ivy's journey has brought her to us after her previous family had to make the difficult decision to rehome her. She's been a pure joy in her foster home and is now eagerly awaiting a loving forever family. Ivy is a happy, affectionate, and incredibly playful girl who lives for a game of fetch! If you've got a tennis ball, you're guaranteed to be her new best friend. She also enjoys her toys, leisurely walks, and simply being by your side.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in an active family that loves to play and include her in daily life. She absolutely adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ivy is a smart cookie who already knows commands like "sit," "lay down," "come," "no," "go potty," and "go to your kennel." She is also potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. Ivy can be a little shy around men when she first meets them, often barking and stepping back. She needs a little extra time and patience to feel safe, but with kindness and treats, she warms up quickly to become the sweetest companion. She is very food motivated and loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and almost any treat!

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her adoption fee includes transport, and there's a good chance we have a transport stop near you!
