Meet Rac, the raccoony pooch! This handsome Husky mix weighs in at 62 lbs and was estimated to be born on March 11, 2023. Rac is an outgoing and active guy who exudes happiness, especially when he has plenty of playtime with his canine friends or his foster dad. He loves long walks and new adventures, and while he's a bit shy about getting into a car, he absolutely enjoys the ride once he's in! It might take a little patience to help Rac's initial shyness fade, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best bud for life. Rac was rescued during a harsh winter freeze, having been found roaming and fed by a neighbor who couldn't keep him. Thankfully, his foster dad stepped in, and Rac has been doing wonderfully in his foster home with his doggy siblings. He's a bit too energetic for kitties, though. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and a big fan of attention.
Ideal Home
Rac would thrive in an active home where he can go for hikes, play with other dogs, and cuddle with his loved ones. He enjoys trying new things and riding in vehicles!
