Hi there! I’m Flor —a 65-lb female Rottweiler with a big heart, a strong spirit, and an even bigger love for playtime. I’m 6-7 years old.
My story didn’t start out easy. I was found in a canal ditch in Mexico, very weak and struggling to walk. Thanks to the amazing humans at The Cantu Foundation, I was heroically rescued and got the care and love I needed—and look at me now! I’m feeling strong, happy, and ready to run, play, and start my next chapter with you.
I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and I walk very well on a leash (if I do say so myself). I’m also great at entertaining myself—I’ll happily nap in my crate when you’re out and about. But when you’re home? I’m all about fun and affection.
My favorite things include tennis balls, squeaky toys, and playing soccer (goal = fun!), water—hose water is basically my personal splash park, and naps, head scratches, and quality hangout time.
Ideal Home
I’d love a yard to play in, but I can also do just fine indoors as long as someone is willing to toss a ball or toy my way. I’d be happiest with bigger kids or in a solo-human home. I can be a bit selective with other dogs, but I may do well with a more submissive, smaller, or female dog. A home without a lot of steps to enter would be best.
Ongoing Health
My back legs are still healing from my rough start, so while I can handle stairs, a home without a lot of steps to enter would be best.
